Stair to Nowhere

A rust-red spiral stair climbs a pale blue wall and simply stops, ending in open sky. Tomás found it on a quiet midday walk, when the sun cut its shadow into a second staircase beside it. It is a small piece of Medellín's playful architecture: a staircase that leads nowhere in particular, and somehow everywhere.
